Bacon-Wrapped Date Bites

Ingredients
24 large pitted dates
12 slices of bacon
24 whole almonds
1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Stuff each pitted date with one almond and, if desired, a pinch of smoked paprika.
3. Cut the bacon slices in half, making 24 pieces.
4. Wrap each stuffed date with half a slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
5. Place the bacon-wrapped dates on the prepared baking sheet, seam side down.
6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and golden.
7. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Storage
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheating
To reheat, place the bites on a baking sheet and warm in a 350°F (175°C) oven for 5-8 minutes.
