Autumn Spice Apple Crisp

Ingredients

4 large Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
1 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp ground ginger
1/8 tsp ground cloves
1/4 cup chopped pecans
1/4 cup golden raisins
1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a mixing bowl, combine oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cloves, and salt.
3. Add the softened butter to the dry ingredients and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
4. Stir in the chopped pecans and golden raisins.
5. In a 9x13 inch baking dish, layer the sliced apples evenly.
6. Sprinkle the oat and spice mixture evenly over the apples.
7. Bake for 45 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and the apples are tender.
8. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Storage

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.

Reheating

Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C) and reheat for 10-15 minutes until warmed through.
