Ingredients

6 cups sliced tart apples
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
1/2 cup maple syrup
1 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1/4 cup chopped pecans
1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a large bowl, combine sliced apples, granulated sugar, 1/4 cup flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and maple syrup. Mix until apples are well-coated.
3. Spread the apple mixture evenly in a 9x13-inch baking dish.
4. In another bowl, stir together oats, brown sugar, 1/3 cup flour, melted butter, pecans, and salt until crumbly.
5. Sprinkle the oat mixture evenly over the apples.
6. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the apples are tender.
7. Allow to cool slightly before serving warm.
